How to set a site address for a job
Add a site when the work is not at your client's own address, such as a flat a landlord lets, and keep the occupier's details with it.
A site is an address where you work for a client that is not their own: a flat a landlord lets, a property a letting agent manages, or a business's second premises. The job stays with the client you bill, and the site says where the work happens. A job without a site is at the client's address, so you only need one when the two differ.
Add a site to a new job
- Select
New joband choose the client. - Turn on Work is at a different address.
- Pick one of the client's saved sites, or fill in a new address. Add the occupier's name, phone and email if they are the person you deal with on the day.
- Finish the job as usual and select
Create job.
A new address is saved to the client, so you can pick it for the next job there.
Add or change the site on an existing job
- Open the job.
- Select
Add a site addressunder the client. If the job already has a site, select the address under the job title instead. - Choose
Client's address, one of the client's sites, orNew address, then selectSave.
The Site card on the job has the occupier's phone and email, and directions to the site rather than to the client.
Manage a client's sites
The Sites section on a client's page lists their sites. Select + to add
one, or select a site to edit it. Editing an address changes it on every job at
that site, which is what you want when you are correcting a mistake.
To stop offering a site, open it and select Archive. Jobs already at that
site keep it.
Frequently asked
Does the site appear on quotes and invoices?
No. Quotes and invoices show the client you bill.
Does my phone's calendar show the site?
Yes. If you have added your Trame diary to your calendar, visits for a job with a site show the site's address.
Can one site belong to two clients?
No. A site belongs to the client who pays for work there. If a property moves to a different letting agent, add it as a site of the new client.
