How to book appointments and use the diary
Book, move and cancel appointments from the Schedule page or from the job itself, and read what each colour on the diary means.
Every appointment in Trame's diary is tied to a job, so glancing at your week tells you what you're doing and for whom, not just when you're busy.
Book an appointment from Schedule
- Go to Schedule.
- Select
New appointment. - Search for the job and select it, then
Next. Jobs already markedDoneorPaiddon't appear in this list. - Set the Start and End date and time.
- Add a Description if it helps, this is optional.
- Select

- Under Coming up, select
Add appointment. - Set the Start and End time and an optional Description.
- Select
Schedule.
This works even on a job marked Done or Paid, unlike the picker on the
Schedule page.
Reading the diary
Switch between week, day and month views. Each appointment is coloured by the job's current status, quoting, quoted, accepted, in progress, done and paid each get their own colour, so you can read the shape of your week without opening a single job. Recurring jobs' visits show in a colour of their own.
Drag an appointment to a new time, or drag its edge to change how long it runs, changes save immediately.
Editing, moving or cancelling an appointment
- Select the appointment, either on the diary or from the job's Coming up list.
- Select
Edit. - Change the Start, End or Description, then
Save changes.
To cancel it, select Delete and confirm.
Heads up
Deleting an appointment cannot be undone.
Frequently asked
A recurring job's visits are showing on the diary, can I move just one?
Not from the diary. Visits generated by a recurring job's schedule are for reading, not for editing individually, changing the time of day or frequency they're booked at isn't available once the job is created. See setting up a recurring job for what you can change on a recurring job.
Can I see my Trame diary in my phone's calendar?
Yes, use Sync on the Schedule page to subscribe from Apple Calendar, Google
Calendar or Outlook.
