What Trame connects to

A short, honest list of what Trame connects to today: your calendar app and Stripe for card payments. Nothing else yet.

Trame connects to two things today: your calendar app, and Stripe for taking card payments. That is the whole list. Trame works fully without either, they are both optional.

Your calendar

Trame can feed your booked appointments into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook as a read-only subscription. It lives on Schedule, under Sync, and also on Settings, under Company. See Adding your Trame diary to your calendar for the full walkthrough.

Taking card payments

Connect a Stripe account from Settings, under Payments, to accept card and Pay by Bank payments on your invoices. Trame takes no cut of what you are paid, but Stripe's own card processing fees still apply. Bank transfer is always shown on your invoices as well, whether or not Stripe is connected. See the Payments section for how to set it up.

Frequently asked

Do I have to connect anything to use Trame?

No. Calendar sync and Stripe are both optional. Quotes, jobs, invoices and expenses all work without connecting either one.

Does connecting Stripe cost extra?

Not from Trame. Stripe charges its own processing fee per card payment, which comes off the payment itself rather than being billed to you separately.

Can Trame connect to my accounting software?

Not yet.
