Keep asking ChatGPT for your quotes and invoices. With Trame connected, they are saved with a number, emailed to your customer, signed and paid online, and chased when they are late.

Rachel can pay online or by bank transfer from the invoice.
Open INV-042 in TrameChatGPT writes a good quote. On its own, that is where it stops: you paste it into a document, email it yourself and keep track of it somewhere else. Connected to Trame, the same request ends with a real quote or invoice in your business.
| Step | ChatGPT on its own | ChatGPT with Trame |
|---|---|---|
| Prices and customers | On its own: Typed into the chat every time | With Trame: Your saved prices and customer details, looked up for you |
| VAT, deposits and CIS | On its own: Worked out in the chat, so you check the sums | With Trame: Calculated by Trame, the same way as in the app |
| The document | On its own: Text you paste into Word or a PDF | With Trame: A numbered quote or invoice with your logo and details |
| Sending it | On its own: You attach it to an email yourself | With Trame: Emailed by Trame, with a link the customer opens on their phone |
| Saying yes | On its own: The customer replies to your email | With Trame: Accepted and signed online, with the deposit invoice sent automatically |
| Getting paid | On its own: Bank details, then waiting | With Trame: A Pay button for card or Pay by Bank, into your own Stripe account |
| Late payment | On its own: You remember to chase | With Trame: Reminders emailed automatically, up to three |
| Afterwards | On its own: Somewhere in your chat history | With Trame: Saved against the customer and the job in Trame |
No commands to learn. Ask the way you would ask someone in the office, and ChatGPT asks back for anything Trame needs, like which Sarah you mean.

Turn the bathroom enquiry into a job

Carry on with my unfinished fence repair quote
Unfinished quotes and invoices keep for 7 days, so you can come back to them in a new chat.
ChatGPT shows you the customer, the lines, the VAT and the total. Ask for changes in plain words, like “make that four hours”, then approve it as a draft. Issuing it and emailing it to your customer are separate steps.
Here’s the invoice from Rachel’s accepted quote, QT-2026-0047. It hasn’t been saved.
A quote sent from ChatGPT is the same as one sent from the app. Your customer gets a proper document, and everything after it happens in Trame.

Your customer opens the quote on their phone, types their name and signs. The job moves to Accepted and any deposit invoice goes out.
Every invoice carries a Pay button. The money lands in your own Stripe account, and Trame takes no cut.
Every quote and invoice is numbered and saved against the customer and the job, wherever you started it.
Late invoices chased for you. Turn on reminders and Trame emails up to three on an overdue invoice, a week apart. A quote with no reply after 7 days is flagged on the job for a follow-up.

A quote, an invoice, who owes you. In your own words.
To remove access, disconnect ChatGPT in Trame under Settings, Integrations. It stops straight away.

No. A quote or invoice ChatGPT prepares is not saved until you approve it, saving it makes a draft, and nothing is emailed to a customer unless you ask for it to be sent.
No. Line totals, VAT, deposits and CIS are calculated by Trame, the same way as when you build a quote in the app. ChatGPT shows you Trame’s figures.
Recording a payment and deleting a saved quote or invoice are done in Trame itself. Ask in the chat and ChatGPT will point you to the right place.
No. Assistant is built into Trame and works on the record you have open. The ChatGPT app is for when you would rather work in ChatGPT. Both use the same quotes, invoices and calculations.
Yes, see Trame for Claude. Saved quotes and invoices are the same in both. Unfinished work stays in the app you started it in.
